Does anyone know this manufacuturer?

Post by RuthM »

I have a set of forks and I cannot identify the maker. I consulted sterling silver sellers and the internet sites and there are initials close to the ones on the fork, but not exact. The stamp on the reverse is A M N Sterling. The M and the N are set slightly higher than the A and uderlined. To the left is a small unreadable hallmark that has something inside of a circle or circle open at the top. The marks could be British, but I don't think so. I'm hoping they're American by the design.Image
