Perfume bottle with sterling stopper

New to this. Perfume bottle was gifted to me.

Lion is reversed. Not sure what that means.
Anchor is Birmingham.
Date is maybe a G? The border indicates 1975-1998?
D6637. No clue what that means.

May I assume the entire top of the perfume stopper is solid sterling?

Hi,
The stopper is hollow and filled with e.g. rosin (colophony), the same way knife handles are fixed.
Those are sterling marks, meaning it is solid silver.
