Hello. I searched as best I could but have not found this mark. Thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide.

I apologize for having links vs photos but apparently my images are not fitting properly.

The "International Sterling" company has a "knight's head" as its logo, kind of like a helmet a knight would wear with a feather at the top, and I have often seen is mis-struck or smudged such that it is difficult to identify. :: I think that's what your maker's mark is. :::: As for the pattern, there is a pattern called "Embossed" which was patented in 1885 and it was a multi-motif which means there were various designs for this pattern, not sure how many, perhaps 5 or 10 different designs is just a guess. ::: The big silver hallmark website only lists two motifs of this pattern, so I assume yours is one of the ones not shown. :::

I have never seen this pattern before, probably it is uncommon, let me know if I am on the right track here :::

If I am not mistaken, the maker's mark is for Simpson, Hall & Miller which later was acquired by International Sterling sometime around the 1910s. I have seen pieces before for sale on eBay. But you must use the correct search words. Best of luck to you!
