Please help identify this hallmark on this spoon

Please help me find the Maker of this spoon. I’m normally pretty good at this but I can’t find it anywhere. The only mark I see is two different squiggly lines. Thank you

Hi Edwin,

Welcome to the Forum.

That appears to be a worn, or badly struck, mark of Towle Silversmiths.

See: https://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_T2.html

and: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=42004&hilit=towle

Towle's 'Old English' pattern, introduced in 1892.

Thank you very much. I would have never found it.
