Someone decided to straighten out a baby spoon - the handle should be formed into a loop, bringing the pattern onto the top...

Cheryl,
I don't think this spoon has been un-twisted.
See my obverse picture, the spoon handle is completely smooth, no design, only the mark beginning about a half inch from the bowl.
See my reverse picture, the full length of the handle to the bowl has pattern. See the edge ridge all the way to the bowl.
Hence, with the mark just half inch from the bowl, the twist would have to be within that half inch, but then the pattern would still be on the bottom beginning at the bowl.

Is it possible, the spoon is punched from flat stock, with pattern top, and mark on reverse, and then the operator placed it in the die upside down to press the bowl shape?
