Silent Butler w/ Destroyed Maker Mark

Size 4 3/4" Dia. x 11 1/4" Lgth. Sterling stamp. Unreadable maker mark (possible script "E"***?). Hate to bring these near impossibles, but perhaps someone might recognize the distinctive wood handle or thumb lever/finial from a like piece by this unidentifiable maker. There was nothing conclusive in the possibles I came up with.
