“Gorham Sterling Weighted Reinforced With Other Material”

``Weighted and reinforced`` means the base was filled with wax or cement and sometimes there is a metal reinforcing bar as well.A very thin layer of silver is applied and molded to it.
Be careful handling it because the silver coating is thin.
