Many years back I inherited my great Aunt's silver. It sat in it's case for some 15 years now, and a recent move has me looking through it again. I am trying to determine a few things:
1) If it is silver or silver plate? In my online research I find articles about International Silver, but not a lot about things marked International Sterling. Things I've read state that International mostly made silver plate, but I also read things that state that if an item uses the word "sterling" then it is sterling. Any clarification on this would be appreciated.
2)Approximate age? I can't find any information on when this pattern ran. Mostly trying to determine if this is something my aunt would have received when she married or if it was possibly passed down.
The first picture is of one place setting of which I have 8 complete along with 4 additional teaspoons.
The second picture is of the marks that are found on all the peices with the exception of the teaspoons which are slightly different. See third picture.
The third picture is of the marks on the teaspoon which are identical to the mark with the addition of the "c" stamped to the left. Unsure what the "c" indicates.

Thanks in advance!
