Help identifying sterling mark -w-

Postby AisleBrowsing » Sat Apr 09, 2016 10:11 am

My first try on the forum. I have found a mark on several pieces I have that I can not find the maker or any info on. It is a W with a line on each side -W-. Thanks, I appreciate any help I can get.

The url link for forums will not work as the forum states there is a maximum of 1000 pixels. Hope this works

Hi,

Remember to use the preview feature, if you cannot see the image, then neither can we.

Have seen it several times before, on mid 20th century items similar to your cigarette urn and ashtray - might even have a piece somewhere, but honestly can't recall if I've ever seen a firm attribution...
