Cigarette Case and Vesta Holder, But Who Made It?

Postby dognose » Fri Feb 26, 2016 6:50 am

Hi,

Just shooting in the dark with this one, a boxed set consisting of a cigarette case and vesta holder, thought to be American:

There are no maker's marks applied, only the word 'STERLING', but as the set appears to be so distinctive, I wonder if anyone might know the who the manufacturer may have been.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi Trev,

I remember looking at an identical case many years ago and seem to recall the vendor saying it was made by the Webster Silver Company in America.

Hi Martin,

Excellent, many thanks for the lead. I'll see what I can find.
