CD Peacock Flatware Help

Postby guito13 » Sat Aug 08, 2015 11:04 pm

Hi All,

I am new here, so i apologize if my terminology or question seem novice. I came across six spoons that appear to be marked CD Peacock and have some other hallmarks. I cant find this patter anywhere online and would appreciate any information anyone has.

Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forum. The name C D Peacock goes with the Chicago jewelry company that would have retailed this piece. The trademark is Whiting and the pattern is Pompeian which was introduced in 1913.

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I was able to clean them up using the baking soda / aluminum / hot water method and they look good. I am going to try to polish them up as well. I am going to keep them as they were from my grandparents estate and mean more to me than money.

Thanks again!
