American berry spoon

Postby modemgirlz » Thu Jun 08, 2006 6:57 pm

Could someone please help me identify these marks on this berry spoon (date and maker) I did look through the hallmarks. I do not see any that look like this. I previewed this msg sorry I must have had my camera set at a high res. If there is a problem viewing, I can take the pictures again. Thank you for your help

Manchester Silver Company, Providence RI, in business from 1887-1985. I don't know the name of the pattern, but it's probably 1930's-40's.

The pattern was introduced in 1900 by Landers, Frary & Clark, somehow it became a Manchester pattern called Landers No. 2.
