NEED HELP TO IDENTIFY THIS SET OF SPOONS

Postby niceguy1 » Tue Aug 19, 2014 5:51 pm

HELLO ALL

I have this boxed set of six spoons with twisted handles. Each has these 3 hallmarks, I’m sure I’ve seen similar marks somewhere in the forum. Are they Scandinavian? Dutch?

What are these type of spoons called? Are they sippers? They measure 15 cm long & the bowl is real small.

THANK YOU.

Hi,

Definitely not Dutch, perhaps pseudo marks, I should call them ice cream spoons .

OK I understand it’s not Dutch or Scandinavian but why was it moved to the American section? Perhaps they are Hanau Pseudo marks?

It was moved to the American section in an effort to help you!

I understand & appreciate that! I was asking what’s the rational behind that?

I’m fairly confident I've seen similar marks discussed over the years in the forum just gotta find it.
