There is an American Navajo Indian artist who uses a very similar mark, but he produces mostly jewelry as far as I know. Joseph Coriz located in Santo Domingo Pueblo, New Mexico, U.S.A.

Dear Patrick,

Many thanks for your reply but I doulbt it could be the maker. Normally all these inkwells are dating from end of the XIXth century, beginning of the XX century, and this specific one looks very classical to me. I would see it more being produced on East Coast USA.

I hope someone can come with other options.
