Unkonwn Pattern and Maker

Postby reapp » Tue Jun 10, 2014 2:59 pm

Hello Forum,
Does anyone recognize this pattern? It is hallmarked at the base of the blade, with "Sterling", "925/1000", and an undecipherable hallmark. I've attached photos, and I apologize in advance for the terrible quality. Any help is greatly appreciated! David

Hi David,

A shaper, larger image of the marks will go a long way with help to providing an answer.

Ditto on posting clear close-ups of the marks (my poor old eyes couldn't make them out, even though I knew what they should be) - this is a pretty common pattern, Towle's 'Mary Chilton', introduced in 1912...
