Opium Spoon Hallmark ID

Postby crumblingbeauty » Mon Feb 24, 2014 5:52 pm

I'm trying to identify the maker of this little opium spoon. I'm really not sure that it's American, even, but I've been looking around the database at the Mexican marks and the Chinese import marks and haven't been able to find anything. Probably would've hung on a chatelaine. . .

Any help would be appreciated :).

Hi ~ welcome to the forums. Don't recognize the mark, but looks to me like a cocaine spoon, circa 1970s-80s, would have hung from a neck chain; may have been made in the U.S., or elsewhere for the American market. In that era, coke spoon pendants were a fairly common item, along with sterling straws, blades and vials...
