I can't find any info on this & I have doubts about the Tiffany stamp. Seems to be some sort of fused glass about 3/8" thick. I have no idea what the inclusions are made of. Any info on this tray would be greatly appreciated

Frank M. Whiting, and W.W. Tiffany & Co. was a Hoboken retailer; the bottom is milkweed silk pressed between two layers of glass, fairly popular from the 1910s-30s, with butterflies, flowers, silhouettes, etc. placed over the backgrounds...

You're a wealth of information, thank you Cheryl.

Don't know why I didn't recognize Frank M Whiting; sure can't claim I was hungover from partying New Years Eve. Will chalk it up to "ole timers" disease. I said glass but I actually think it's Lucite so real dragonfly's & wheat grass silk makes sense.

I had already searched for W.W. Tiffany & Co but came up blank. I'm trying to date the tray so 1936 (Lucite available) to 1940 (Whiting purchased) would seem to make sense. Any idea when W.W. Tiffany was in business?

Oops milkweed not wheat grass. Another sign my mind is shot?

Research from a kind poster on another site cites census records indicating W.W, Tiffany was no longer a jeweler by 1930.
