R. Harris & Co. Spoon Pattern ID Help

Postby imagal49 » Thu Mar 30, 2006 12:25 pm

The attached images show what I believe to be a sugar spoon mfd by R. Harris & Co. It's 5 1/2" overall, the bowl is 1 3/8"W x 1 3/4"L, obviously engraved with what appears to be some reposse work on the bowl. Can anyone help me identify the pattern, and whether or not this manufacturer was bought out by one of the large conglomerates? Hmmm...that should be enough to chew on for today...might have a few more tomorrow if your patience holds out. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for your help. Was able to identify the pattern as Towle #43 in Dolan with your aid. Fascinating stuff - it's like a treasure hunt with every piece.
