Seeking Info On Single Marked Sterling Ladle

I couldn't come up with any information on this mark nor was is clearly recognizable to me. It appears to be "JK". Any info is always appreciated. Everyone thus far on this forum has be very helpful. Thanks again in advance.

Although what's left of the mark may look a little crude compared to what is on this site, I believe that the manufacturer is Whiting. http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_W2.html

Very impressed with your knowledge and eye. It makes complete sense that it's Whiting because in this same collection I got from a relative here in Massachusetts there was some Watson pieces which is from Attleboro, MA. Whiting I read was produced out of North Attleboro, MA. Again thanks so much!
