I am having trouble in identifying the following Hallmark....

It is what appears to be a long handled AX with "XXX" over the handle. To the right of the ax is the word STERLING

Just below that line is 65 A21

Just below that is 7/8 PINT....

I would love to send a picture but I do not know how to on this format.

Thank you in advance

Check here for your mark: http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_K.html
A site search of that maker may bring up more information. And welcome to the forum.

That is a beautiful piece. I Just purchased two wonderfully detailed bowls by this silversmith and can tell you that it is from William B. Kerr and Co., New Jersey. They were in business from 1880 to 1927. He lived from 1855 to 1906. They became part of Gorham in 1927. They are well known for their Art Nouveau pieces in jewelry, hollowware and vanity pieces. A true artist!!
