old butter spreader think a very old Birks mark help

butter spreader sterling ...it looks like a very old birks silver mark .. with the .. c .. as a date mark .. and the colonial bust as the birks mark .. am I very wrong thanks Tim Image Image

The shape of the blade certainly looks like Birks. You might have to try to find pattern - I couldn't.

The mark is for the Mount Vernon Company Silversmiths 1914-1923 when they were purchased by Gorham.
