Good Afternoon to all,. I wonder if anyone can possibly assist with these marks which I believe to be American, Can anyone help with maker and possibly a date?

Founded in 1862, the company was sold in 1967 to Wells Inc.

I'm sure someone will be able to suggest a date for this piece.
