Unidentified logo on silverware

Postby steve45jm » Sat Dec 03, 2005 4:46 pm

These pictures are of silverware that may be American or Canadian, but I can find no information on the marks; J.S.Co., a logo that I can't make out and then the word Sterling.

Any information is appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

Your "J" is actually an "I". The mark is that of International Silver Co. The maker's mark is a plumed knight's head overlaying a shield. Your pattern is 'Lenox", introduced in 1929.
