I have a six piece set of flatware with no makers name, only the name of the retailer. There is clear hallmark which I have never seen before.

Can anyone indentify the maker for me?

The maker's mark on the left is sideways.

The pattern of the pieces is known as Fairfax, and was originally introduced by Durgin in 1910.
