If so, who are they, where were they located & what years were they in business?

J W Wolfenden Corporation is a thought. I'm away from my refereneces, so I can't check much further for a good while, but that company is listed in "Rainwater." Then again they may have only had the one mark that is listed on this site: http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_W3.html
