I have looked everywhere through your web-site encyclopedia and postings and cant find anything on these.
I bought this case about 10 years ago and absolutely love it.. just unique and fun. Favorite part is the inside swirl design, anyone know what that is called specifically? I am a smoker and enjoy have nice accessories to kind of stand out. Can you please tell me something about this case. I have another one I am going to post up some questions on too. THANK YOU.. so much for any help.
I would really like to find some more from this company if you recognize this please tell me if you know some good places to get there things from OR if you know where to find great cases too. Nice, machined inside cigarette case.
The purity is denoted by the word STERLING and is .925
The other No probably a pattern or some other factory internal
order of the day no or so. Probably american in origin, I think.

The swirl design, I have always just heard it as circular brushing like you see on stainless steel and aluminum plates on fire engines. In your picture I thought the mark was an anchor also, until I realized from Trev's post that it is a B. with a sword through it for Blackinton. Are you sure it is a cigarette case? it looks to small, could it be a business card case instead?

Thanks for the info on that. About the cigarette case vs. business card case I have wondered the same thing. Ok, so both unfiltered cigarettes and regular sized business cards will fit inside of it. Now because of it being giving to someone in the 40's I am thinking a cigarette case. Anyone out there has any further ideas let me know. Definitely appreciate the help.
