Need help identifying mark on sterling goblet

Postby tnbelles » Tue Nov 27, 2007 8:41 am

Can anyone help identify the maker of this sterling silver goblet. It has a gold wash on the inside. Believe it is at least 50 years old if not older. Looks like F. AM. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Hello.

Just offering a possibility here. Maybe the F was originally an E?
Elgin-American Mfg. Company, Elgin, Illinois.
Founded in 1887. In business until c.1952.
