Post by themichaelfrank »

Hi All,

Wondering if this mark right after the word Sterling is recognizable to anyone? Thanks, Michael

Hi Michael,

That is the mark of the Webster Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

See: https://www.925-1000.com/ax_webster.html

Oh jeesh, thanks Trev. I dont think I'd have caught it even I'd hit upon the Webster page.

My brain was reading that mark as some sort of purely pictorial image... I was at: a fishbone? a feather? an arrow through a ???

cheers!
