Help with maker's mark & year English tea caddy

I believe this is a tea caddy as the lid opens to store something. There are two marks on the bottom "ENGLAND" and a picture of a bird, perhaps a phoenix? The top is decorated with a unicorn? which I also have taken a photo of:





Can anyone identify the maker and the year? It meausres 4" x 3" and is 3" tall. Thanks very much.
