Little Pot

I have read all the rules and am trying to post as appropriately as I can. This little pot has come into my possession. I have no idea what it is and am new to this. It measures about 3 inches high by about 7 inches across at its longest, and has the makers markings underneath. I live in the United kingdom. I would love to know more about its use, age and history. Thank you for any knowledge you can share.
