Help Identifying Mark on Sugar Scuttle

I have this sugar scuttle which has marks on the back of the piece with what appears to be the letters ssls and a pair of crossed keys inside a 5 sided geometric shape. I have searched and am not able to identify the mark.
Ony help would be appreciated
