I have not been able to find any similar marking on the internet or at the library. Does anyone have a clue as to the maker, date and origin of my candlestick?

At the rolled edge on the bottom I see glimpses of copper, so it must be plated. There are no other markings other than the one I have posted.

Checked my books, but could not find that mark.

I think candlestick holders have more unidentified marks than any other item we see.
Many of the companies that produced these did not make other silverplated items. Silverplating was not their primary business.

I didn't think this would be so difficult. I have posted another picture with the candle "wings" attached. They seem to match, so I think they belong. I have not been able to find any markings on it. The foot long ruler gives some sense of size.

Another interesting observation is the construction. In my first picture, the main candlestick shaft appears to have been made in sections. The two wide rings (one at the the very top and the other about 1/3 up from the bottom) seem to folded over and underneath the section below it. They end about 1/32 of an inch after wrapping under, exposing some copper. I could try to take a picture of that if it would be useful.
