Spoons

Hello All,
i just join the forum last week , i have a set of 6 spoons, I don't know if they are silver since there was no stamping or word silver anywhere So i am assuming they are silver plate , but I don't know who made it and where are they from, On the front of the spoon there is the word SURINAME, AND ON THE BACK THE WORD DEME T with a number 90. I am hoping some one can help
