Silverplate Footed Tray with grape design around edges

Postby georgianana » Wed Aug 10, 2005 3:13 pm

Can anyone help identify who made this tray? It has been in my husband's family for many years. The marks are from the back of the tray, Here is the first mark

Thanks for the help. I was getting nowhere. Any ideas on the age of the tray or what it might be made of?

Thanks!

Very badly worn silverplate, appears to be over copper. E.G.Webster & Son formed in 1886, acquired in 1928 by International, apparently the mark continued to be used by Int'l. into the 1950s-60s.

Thanks again for helping identify this tray. I'm excited to finally have some idea of where it came from.
