Russian Silverplate Vodka Cup & Tray Set- HELP WITH IDENTIFICATION

I have 6 kiddush or vodka cups and a tray. I have been told they are from Russia. They came from a Jewish gentleman who I believe to have originally come to the US from Yugoslavia. They are a mix of silver and other metals. They have a gold, almost copper glow inside the cups and some rainbow effects in spots. The cups have a brushed finish on the outside with dashes/ lines evenly spaced like linear polka-dots. The rim of the tray has the same "dash" pattern. The cups don't have any makers marks but the tray is marked "MK7" and then below that there is engraved a "9" (or it could be a 6). The MK7 has tails on the font like Russian Cyrillic writing. I would like to identify the maker, the time period, and the city (as well as confirm that it is indeed Russian). Thanks!
