Unsolved Lion Trademark Mystery, 9 years on

While trying to identify the maker of this set of salad servers, with a distinctive Lion trademark, I came across a question posted on another forum in 2013, asking the same question, but still, 9 years later, awaiting a response. I don't hold out much hope!

Does anyone recognise this? Going on style alone, I did wonder if they might be Scandinavian?
