I have come across a very distinctive trademark on a pair of plated napkin holders. Evidently French; Madame et Monsieur, but despite extensive searching, no luck with identifying the maker. Judging by the style, I would assume the holders were made c1920 - 1930.
The mark is of a lion's head, within a shield, with the lion apparently holding lightning bolts in its mouth.
Is anyone familiar with this mark? Many thanks if so ...
