I have no idea where to start with these markings, no clue what era, what part of the world. I searched Ram on this forum and there were a few postings over the last decade but no determination. I am guessing this is silver plate? Would love to nail down the time period, geographic origin and maker.

Hi,

It's a mark we've seen many times on the forum, but as yet, we have not come up with an answer.
