Love silver plated powder box - Japan

I recently acquired this lovely body powder container. I am reasonably sure it's silver plate. Inside it has a blue glass insert. On the bottom, it has a heart with an N inside it and under that says Made In Japan. I have been scouring the internet for more information, but have come up empty. Any idea who the manufacturer might have been? Because it's stamped Made in Japan, I think it's probably from the late 1950's or early 1960's but I could be wrong. I randomly looked up Japanese items manufacturers to see if I could find any marks that look like this, but didn't find any. And there are no Japanese symbols, so I think it was made for export. I did also search the forum, but it appears that data here and elsewhere is very limited on Japanese manufactured objects.
