Graham Manufacturing Company

Post by Traintime »

Known to have at least three patterns, this is not one of them. At least one is shared with Holmes & Tuttle (et al) which raised the possibility of Bristol Brass....so I went ahead and cleaned the remnants of gold spots to see if it was base metal under the plate or gilt above...conclusion is likely gold gilt. The plating job itself looks reasonably well done, so they weren't trying to hide cheap work under another layer. This would suggest Graham may have been upscale or value added work. Is anything additionally known about who used this mark?
