E M & Co Spoon

Hi,Struggling a little with this one....I can see its E M & Co but im unsure of the date and if its silver or plate..(apologise if posting in wrong section)?

I think its Birmingham, silver and 1880 but any help greatly appreciated ...

The date is as you thought, 1880. The name of the pattern is 'Lily'.
