Rearing Lion on Crown & Fleur de Lis on bottom

Postby VictoriaJZ » Tue Feb 16, 2021 1:02 pm

I have a silver [or Silver plate, not sure] rectangular 'box' with the Lion/Crown in center inside and the Fleur de Lis on bottom of it. No other marks - see photos -- I can't figure out what mark is on it -

The mark on the underside is quite close to the first in a line of three pseudo-marks used by E.G. Webster & Sons (page 396 in Rainwater 4th). On page 361, a notation indicates the three-part mark was used "On sterling silver"...might need to look into this. [International Silver used their version of three-feathers in other marks.]
