Re: Silver Spirit Kettle: Maker?
Hello Revampvin, we have the Gothic EPNS lettering plus a Maltese cross but these were regularly used by companies up to and around the start of the 20th century. Thus the key must be the shield with the intertwined lettering. It could be the manufacturer's mark or possibly a retailer's mark. From your image I think there is a "K", possibly a "H" and maybe an "R" or "P" or even an "A". What letters do you think it consists of? Can you get an enlargement of the shield mark? The good thing perhaps is that if it is a "K" in the company's name it does cut down the number of companies to research. The shield mark does have a similarity to the mark of Leonard Krower & Son of New Orleans. This is an example from the 1930s.
I do not know where you got your spirit kettle from as I thought the Gothic lettering meant it was likely British but Krowers described themselves as "Importers and Manufacturers".
There is a post relating to Krowers on our Forum at:

I am not saying I am right so lets hope there are a few more ideas from other Forum members about the spirit kettle.
