I have these Meriden Silver Plate Co. napkin rings and I cannot the design in any catalogs I've been able to locate, and I can't find the exact maker's mark here or on other sites. So, I'm wondering if I've found an unlisted mark, or have a counterfeit on my hands. The design is unusual in that it incorporates glass into the ring.

I'm also curious about the patina on them. It is very uniform and I'm not used to seeing this on silver plate I have. I found one site that surmised that the uniformity of the patina was something to watch out for, possibly indicating a fake or reproduction. Any thoughts on this hypothesis?
