We have a tea set that my Grandfather brought back from WWII that is marked with a w over mf, which we believe means that it was made by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Is there any way to date the set?
Thank you for your help!

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Can you have another go at embedding your images please. Note that Google is not very suitable as a photo host.
https://postimages.org is recommended (click 'Share', then copy and paste the 'Hotlink for forums' code to embed your images).

I think I've got the hang of posting pictures now. Sorry about that.

Hi,
Welcome to the Forum.
Can you tell us more about the construction of this set. Is it silver plated direct on to the ceramic, or is it a metal sleeve type?

The sugar and creamer are silver plated direct on to the ceramic.
The teapot has a metal sleeve.
Thank you for the inquiry. This is our first time researching this type of teapot.

The only thing I can add, is the '0,25l' mark would be an indicator of the capacity of the item (¼ Litre).

Hello, this kind of marking (WMF and no frame) was introduced ca. 1965, so this can be dated from the middle sixties onwards. Best wishes, Bahner
