Hello, can you date it? Only two marks visible.

A thread with links to information on various Christofle marks to help in dating: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=51767&p=175589&hilit=christofle&sid=f938692491995c7719ab0fad4a68540f#p175589

Thank you, but I already read this before posting. And can not find a mark like mine. Maybe a little hint?

From what is in this link (way down under Susan) it should be 1878 or earlier as Christofle stopped plating the Alfe Nide product at that time: https://www.smpub.com/ubb/Forum21/HTML/000473.html

Items were dual marked according to the date ranges she gave. It may be harder to narrow an item down to any particular period without information documenting the patterns and shapes.

This thread repeats the dating of pre-1878: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=55589&p=178096&hilit=Alfe+Nide&sid=fef5392203112a03f036f8112cd878b1#p178096

Not yet seeing anything regarding the differences in shapes of Alfe Nide marks that might help here.

Er, 2nd above was Suzanne rather than Susan. Here is something promising from ASCAS, which I have yet to read through: http://www.ascasonline.org/ARTICOLOMARZ180.html

The question of ALFE NIDE versus Alfenide seems to go in circles. Everything would seem to suggest a maker mark for the first and a product mark for the second (the base metal composition), but that is not confirmed yet.

Okay...that last link puts it pre-1862.

Yes, not easy to resolve this. A lozenge shaped mark with ALFE NIDE gives date pre-1862. But the shape of maker mark should be oval. In my photo has definitely a lozegne shape.
There is also a sentence "Attention! Sometimes on the early pieces the third mark is absent (e.g., on pieces issued in 1847 or 1850)" under pictures Fig.9. http://www.ascasonline.org/ARTICOLOMARZ180.html
As I inform before my sprinkler has only two marks. There is no production year. Maybe that is a clue?
Thank you Traintime for your time and help.
