Hello All,

Today I found a 2 pronged fork while metal detecting. On the back it has A1 Hutton Sheffield and the crossed Arrows mark. On the front it has a shield mark with a smokers pipe at the top. It also has something written under the shield which I can’t fully read but to me it says ???thing corporation. (The ?’s are 3 letters I can’t make out)

I’m trying to add photos to show you.

Any information about this item. It was found in an Area where soldiers in WW2 camped.

Thank you for your time

Dan.

If you need help with embedding photos, just give a shout here. What country was the camp in? The mark you describe well sounds like William Hutton (here): https://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_H3.html. Is that a match? Wildly guessing, I'd start with looking for some "Worthing" company...the photos would help here.
