German cutlery silver?

Postby ErwinSnellen » Sun Mar 01, 2020 4:15 pm

Hello,

I have the following cutlery. I do not know the hallmarks but the fork has a inscription that belongs to "H.A. Jurst & co Berliner" I think. I do not know of the spoon is from that company allso. Can somebody tell me more about these objects and if they are silver?

Okay thank you for your request. I will post one item in the future. Is it possible to tell which metal is used for these items?

Hello, as Trev stated nickel silver, an alloy of silverlike colour which does not contain any silver. Regards, Bahner

Are the two pieces in this entry linked by the producing firms, or is the similarity purely coincidental?
