Postby MaryLou » Wed Nov 01, 2006 4:08 pm

This knife was my grandmothers along with 3 others just like it. It says Extra Coin Silver Plate N912. It is 6" long and quite heavy, any help on the maker and the time period would be greatly appericated.

The Niagara Silver Company, New York, registered this trademark on June 15, 1897. Used on silverplated flatware. Merged with William A. Rogers Ltd. by 1904. Became part of Oneida Silversmiths in 1929. I don't know if Oneida continued to use this mark.

Regards,
Pat.
