I would like some assistance in identifying this hallmark. I believe it may possibly be French? If anyone could also help me in explaining the number (25) next to the makers mark which looks like A.G to me.

I've learned that 25 is 25 grams of silver was used to plate this piece, could anyone assist me with the maker? Thank you.
